13 September 2018 – We made here on the 11th after a long hot day in the sun. I should say we hobbled here… my blister plasters had blisters! Angie fared a bit better but the soles of my feet are very painful and I am opting to take a bus for the next two sections and rest.
Burgos is famous for its cathedral where El Cid is buried. Made famous by Charlton Heston in 1961!

So we sit by a window and read the chapter on the Joy of the Lord to each other. I was crying and laughing and just sensing God’s joy in us. The rest of the tour wasn’t quite the same.
