When we reached Santiago de Compostella a few days ago a lot of pilgrims desire to see the swinging, smelly, censer, thingy – well the Botofumerio to be exact. It’s the biggest one of its kind in the world and when lit and swinging it is quite a sight to behold. I opted to sketch it stationary, I’m not sure I could do it justice in motion. I may post a video in future though.
